		<description>You make some very good points, about the lower standard comments being left after you leave incentives: I think it&#039;s important to have a comment policy stating that keyword links or other non-value-adding comments will be treated as spam.

it doesn&#039;t have to be a long EULA agreement but just a line or two saying you don&#039;t tolerate spamy type comments.

if you enforce it consistently then over time your comments become more valuable to the article, people see they&#039;re not gonna get away with a &quot;great tip,thanks&quot; response and leave more relevant comments which in itself leads to more comments of higher quality.
