Blog commenting really helps. We can see that some of our traffic coming from my blog comments. I mean these bloggers takes time to visit our site and some also leave their comments on our blog.

I think blog commenting is the new way to get more traffic unlike say…a couple of years ago.

Sweetman I’ll visit again!…sorry Brian can’t help it.

A great post as usual.

However, I am sorry Brian, but I can’t resist myself from telling you this:

“Take all replies with a grain of slat”

You spelled salt as slat. Hehe. You might find myself rather annoying after this.

Since I only comment on posts that interest me, of course I would have to read before I post any comments.

@Virginia Beach Movers It’s great that you read the entire article! Seriously I’m the type of blogger that has ADD so I try my hardest but I’ll be honest I have skipped a paragraph in my life! Especially when I’m at the office

I do a lot of blog commenting and I always make sure to read the whole article first. Not only is it the right thing to do but it is really the point of coming to a blog in the first place. On top of that, I get to learn something every time I visit. But I rarely subscribe to the comment feed. Instead, I just come back every few days to see if anyone replied to my comment and to see if the blogger has put up a new post. -Jack

How do you reply to comments or blog articles?
I read the article and leave a very serious comment but try to keep it under 100 words.

Do you focus on quality comment or quantity?
Of course, quality.

Do you subscribe to replies or simply take off?
If its available, I always subscribe to replies. I want to know what people are saying so I can add more comments with great advise if I can.

But yes, it is a great article. Commenting is one of the best ways to market your blog, and if you can get good at tracklinking and commenting, then even better. When commenting, sound natural. Express your interest in the article. There’s one rule about promoting that I learned a while back: promote your benefit first, promote yourself second. Applied to commenting: promote your viewpoint first, promote your blog second. Have a URL or Social Media link ready to type in when you leave a comment.
