Blog Engage RSS Syndication Subscription Service Bronze Membership

This weeks Blog Engage challenge is all about guest blogging and sharing your thoughts on why it’s beneficial as a blogger to guest post.

I’ve been blogging now for three years and I must admit this is one area I haven’t done much work in. I’ve guest posted on famous Bloggers and a few other places but nothing that is to be considered a marketing ploy.

I do however fully understand the benefits of guest blogging and always try to promote guest blogging at blog engage to our members. I think it’s an amazing way to build your followers and create a strong online brand for yourself.

Exposure for your blog

Maybe you just started your blog and your looking to get word out about it. Guest blogging is a great way to tell a larger established group of readers as your post will usually include a plug about yourself and your blog. Just be sure you are guest blogging on a blog that relates to your own blog.

Exposure for yourself

Maybe your interested in getting your freelance writing skills noticed, or your knowledge on a specific topic. Like I mentioned in your BIO you can introduce yourself and give a way for others to get in touch with you.

A link back to your own blog

It is generally acceptable to include a link back to an article you wrote previously on your blog as long as it fits in the article and offers the reader value. At the very least your plug will include a link back to your blog offering you another valuable incoming link. You can also add links into your BIO on most guest blogs.

Building Relationships

I’ve meet so many people online during my last guest blogging contest at famous bloggers. I managed to gain many new Blog Engage members, rss customers and new blog readers. This has allowed our community to continue growing and excelling.

Creating Authority

Guest blogging can help you build authority in the blogosphere and help you gain respect from your fellow bloggers. This is how you can start making a name for yourself. Don’t miss out on these amazing marketing opportunities.

Memberships, RSS, Blog Engage

I know I was going to announce the newest additions to our RSS Service at Blog Engage but instead I’ve decided to write about my guest post at famous bloggers and how I need your help to make me a winner.

I’ve contemplated a few times to use the Blog Engage community to promote the article but decided it would be more competitive and fair if I used my own resources here on my personal blog.

The Blog engage Community would had been a great idea but I’m not sure if it would be considered fair for the rest of the contestants. I now many bloggers would had complained that I got to promote my article with an entire social media community and the contest was not fair.

The articles submitted to the contest have been great and are very competitive. I sat down last night and went through them to see what I was up against. I will be the first to admit this contest has some great articles that have been submitted.

I tired my best in this contest so I’m happy with my results. I’m sending this last request out to my online friends to help and support me. I send a big thanks out to anyone that has supported me to date and have tweeted and commented on the article.

If you want to be the best guest blogger then you have to forget about your personal gain and write the best article you have ever written in your life. What you have to remember is guest blogging isn’t about you, it’s about your opportunity to attract more readers.

I know this article is short and sweet but it’s so true. Guest blogging is an amazing opportunity to increase your readership and blog traffic. Prepare your article well in advanced and review it more then thee of four times. Ensure it’s in perfect condition and then submit it.
