How to start a new website
Over the next few weeks I will be working on a new project. It’s a very niche website but I think it has much potential. I’m not ready to share the web url yet but I will soon enough. I’m developing the website editing the template files and installing the modules now. The website will be a social networking community but more specific to vlogging. The website will allow for submissions of vlogs from online vloggers. The website will allow you to embed your vlog video or add the youtube url and display the video using java pop up with full video controls.
I’m sure this project can be a success but I will have to start vlogging here on my blog. I truly believe that that my personal blog marketing has made blogengage so successful. I”m sure my vlogging will create a great buzz about my next project.
As I grow with this idea, try new software and decided how I’m going to move forward with the project I’ll keep you updated. As do I! SEO is an amazingly complex world, and never stays the same. Google changes monthly, if not more, so it is always good to learn the best practices. Black hat SEO techniques often are modified by Google to not rank high, and can even cause your site to get blacklisted from Google’s indexes. But true White hat SEO is priceless.

Good idea. I’m not very good in vlogging but curious to see how will it turn out. ^^ Perhaps it’s a future trend. At least for some of us who are still quite shy on the camera, blogging is what we can still do. Will support your idea, wait for the launch.

Sounds like a great idea and a big project, you won’t only be competing with youtube but also all the big social media sites, especially facebook which includes a video post system.
I’m planning to put up a website and was disappointed that the hot website name I had on my mind is already existing (but just parked). I mean I don’t want a domain name with .org or .net extension! I want that .com! So I resorted to adding article word “the”, I hope this is wise.
Starting new websites can be both exciting and scary. It is often very hard to fight your way to the top of Google, and if you want traffic early on you often have to use AdWords to pay your way to the top. We’re having a class competition at the University of Minnesota to rank for the term “Zompire Dracularius”. This looks to be lots of fun! Go Zompire Dracularius!
