Before I get into my new brilliant idea I want to send a thank you to everyone here on my personal blog that supported me in the famous bloggers contest. We landed over 500 comments and the experience has been eye opening for me and has helped me better set up my own contests.

After the contest I had a lot of stuff to do. First I had to announce the winners of our first 500 USD blogging contest and then launch the new second 500 USD guest blogging contest So needless to say this weekend for me wasn’t much of a weekend at all lol.

What I decided to do for this contest was to include all the bloggers who have helped me and commented on my famous bloggers article. Thank you we got over 500 comments. All the bloggers are now officially sponsors in our current 500 USD guest blogging contest at Blog Engage

A new addition to our guest blogging contest is the points system. The main purpose for this was to encourage members to start being more active and productive in the contests themselves. This is going to be done by social networking, article sharing and contest sponsor reviews.

Tweets, 1 point up to a max of 250 points
Linked In Votes, 1 point, up to a max of 500 points
Facebook Likes, 1 point, up to a max of 500 points
Engages at Blog Engage, 2 points, Unlimited points
Comments on the blog article that provide value, 2 points Unlimited Points
Comments on blog engage story page, 1 point Unlimited Points
Sponsor Reviews, 10 points per review. max points based on unique content
