Hey Brian,
The blogs are made basicly for earning some cash on the web, but that is not the only reason. Taking into considertaion that the comments are made from a lots of ppl, some of them can easily become friends. Form here to earn some cash is just a little step, so see what reaons to do something you likewithout haveing a little fun :)

Hi Brian,

The internet is brilliant at bringing people together - and Blogengage does it in a way that is cool, competitive & clever. I've really enjoyed reading a few of the posts there, am sure I'll find some great blogs for inclusion on my own site - and look forward to returning regularly.

The voting system you have on Blogengage is fantastic by the way.

Best wishes from Will in Hamburg - with half an eye on the US Tennis Open ( late night watching here in Germany!)

Hi Courtney,

Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure having a fellow friend from North Bay join our discussions.

Building relationships is so important in real life and online. More so like you said online because without the relationship we have nothing else to trust or fall back on. Simply out an online presence without a relationship is a void of emptiness and that’s not pleasurable for anyone.

It’s really cool finally meeting someone from my neck of the woods.

Do you know anymore North Bay Bloggers?

Perhaps we can have coffee sometime? Similar to me you’re probably blogging with a Tim Horton’s in your hand LMAO haha

"Nice I’m glad I’m not the only one that agrees building relationship is the way to build traffic."

I agree Brian,

It's often said that building RELATIONSHIPS is what marketing is all about-- especially online.

But I think most people underestimate the power of simply being friendly and helpful.

If you would have told me six months ago that I'd have reached all of my two-year goals simply by being a decent human being I'd laugh at you.

Still, no word of a lie... it happened.

And so the best advice I have for anyone these days is to go to their local bookstore and pick up the "tacky" classic: "How to Win Friends And Influence People"

Friends open doors. Yelling and "selling" to random strangers does not.

Nice to meet a fellow N-Bay traveler.

All the best,

Courtney

You don't visit them all you simply visit a few! I would suggest bloggeries, digitalpoint and blogengage for forum usage.

Hey Brian, you know it's really hard to organize our schedule to visit every blog and forum and social network available. So, how do we do it? You should write a post about that.

yup that's me :)

Sometimes forums aren't the right place for some people and that's just the way it works out. There's a lot of opportunity for you in our forums Doug. Think about what you can do right now.

1. Website Review
http://www.blogengage.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=64

2. Show of your blog official spam thread
http://www.blogengage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=342

3. Add to the forums directory
http://www.blogengage.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=19

4. Relative Link Exchange
http://www.blogengage.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=7

You get my point :)

Socializing definitely brings more people your website way... and allows you to meet great people, some of whom you might work with down the road on projects.

I am a big fan of Blogengage as it drive quite a bit of traffic to my site each week, and the owner is pretty cool too... oh yeah, that is your Brian ;)

I still need to get more active in the forum... and will, as soon as I find a little spare time.
