Top SEO Articles regarding Organic Traffic Resources

Filed Under (SEO Basics) by admin on 30-09-2008

Sometimes taking a step back and looking at other concept regarding Organic Traffic is a good thing. There are many different concepts and ideals on how to increase your Google, Msn and Yahoo traffic and for this reason we will look at the Top 10 Article on the net regarding Organic Traffic.

The first article I found was from Pro Blogger named How to Herd Organic Search Traffic to Your Blog. This is an intense article and might be a little over bearing for my readers and maybe even myself. Not only does this author speak about how to place well in Google they also discuss using tools in order to generate the best and mast target keywords! This is definitely a good read and I would suggest it 100%

The second article I came across was named, Organic Traffic Building: The Only Way to Grow a Sustainable Web Brand. This article speaks about social networking and creating unique content! Overall a great read and something should be learnt from it!

The third article I found was named, How to Generate Organic Traffic to Your Site. This article is extremely simple and was a great read! The author speaks about unique content, using keywords and how to examine your current set up to see if you can optimize more on your own blog rather than your articles!

The Forth article I found is a little off topic but look at Organic Traffic as a way of income and in general a way to increase your profits. Titled Organic Traffic worth way more than PPC & Paid Traffic.

The Fifth article I found was again related to Organic Traffic and it’s pretty specific regarding the importance and understanding which is named, Blog SEO Part 1: Organic Traffic. Seems there’s a documentation of the results like I’m starting here at seomkt so it might be worth browsing the blog to see what else is offered!

From reading these articles you should have a better understanding on what Organic Traffic is and what you could potentially do with it! You should also have a good understanding of Keywords, Unique content and how to rank inside Google’s top 10!

Over time you should be seeing me up there and I don’t predict it will be long! I will continue to write about these articles and eventually Google will love me too! Best of luck to you all and don’t be afraid to ask any questions you might have!

Thanks,

Brian

SEO and Targeting Keywords to Increase Organic Traffic

Filed Under (SEO Basics) by admin on 30-09-2008

When writing articles on your blog try to hyperlink to other articles on your blog that are related to the topic at hand! Ensure the hyper links have Targeted Keywords to those specific articles as well. For example this topic today I will link to a few articles you might also find interesting to read but most importantly they are related to the articles topic. SEO isn’t an easy task and for most webmasters getting ranked in Google is very hard.

Google wants unique content and keyword specific articles. Linking to these articles overtime will also help increase your Page Rank and SERP. (Search Engine Ranking Position) Sometimes you can hyper link to much so make sure you stay targeted to your topic and only link to articles that are relevant.

Organic Traffic is always something every true bloggers looks for seeing it’s the easiest way to make money from our ads! My template isn’t the greatest for making money online but I still want to get that organic traffic as much as possible!

Creating and generating organic traffic from other search engine such as yahoo and msn are still a mystery to me seeing I have only been experimenting with Google! Over the next month or so I will try to start writing some topics regarding other major search engines and not simply Google. As I write these articles I will be learning with you as we lead to the end of the experiment.

To show a great example of targeting keyword with hyper links I will use the following Google Search term.

“Google Search Term”

From this search term you can see from hyper linking my first article in my second article, Unique Content Increases SEO and Organic Website Traffic, allowed me to become quickly cached with Google regarding my first article, Creating Unique Content on Social Networking Websites.

The coolest thing about these articles is they are also available in Google right now with unique keywords and descriptions from my favorite social networking website such as blog engage.

Overall the lesson I’m trying to express today is when hyper linking article ensure they are targeted with similar keywords and are in fact relevant to the topic your writing! Google loves when you follow the rules and will cache you so fast it’s not even funny! Google can be a powerful tool but try to keep your ideals basic as the more advanced you get the more chances it’s liable to not work.

Post your comments or ideals! Want me to try something different let me know!

Thanks,

Brian

Creating Unique Content on Social Networking Websites – Part 2

Filed Under (SEO Basics) by admin on 25-09-2008

Yesterday I posted an article regarding the creation of unique content when submitting your article to Social Networking Websites and today I already have proof this is an amazing way to increase your overall organic traffic flow from the major Search Engines. I create three topics the original was posted here on my blog and I submitted the other 2 on over at blog engage and the other at digg.

This morning I made a quick search using my friend Google and I was happy to see the same article in the Top four spots on Google leading the exact same article, this one.

Use the following search terms over at Google and look at the results. “Increase organic traffic flow” The first result is the submission I added at blog engage. As you can clearly see Google is picking up the submitted content as original and unique to the blog engage website! The forth link will lead directly to my blog here and again showing it as unique and original content.

From this unique content idea I have developed 2 very unique back links to the same article but again in this case Google thinks they are both unique. We all know it’s the same link in the end that I’m trying to point too! Overall this will help build up my organic traffic flow and increase the chances seomkt will be found using many search terms but again from the same article.

So what are you waiting for? Take the Unique Content challenge and increase your organic traffic flow while you still can. I’m not too sure why the digg article isn’t cached as of yet I’m assuming its bad luck I mean lets face it Google isn’t perfect! I’m also thinking it’s because the title and content were so unique I would have to search different keywords.

Well I hope my readers got something from this! Simply submitting the same content to social networking websites hurts your Google SERP so try to be more unique and original with the topic title and content! Check me out for taking a few moments I have 2 organic links coming back to my blog and it’s the same article!

Thanks,

Brian

Unique Content Increases SEO and Organic Website Traffic

Filed Under (Marketing, Promotion, SEO Basics) by admin on 24-09-2008

Understand this concept and you may have the chance of dramatically increasing your website traffic! When submitting to Social Networking sites create unique content by changing the keywords in your topic title and the body of the explanation! This isn’t mandatory for any site but the concept could potentially increase your organic traffic flow by over 100%

Let me explain the concept behind Unique Content or the ideal of what it represents. When you initially write your blog article and submit it to your blog site the content at this point is unique to the World Wide Web and all its Search Engines. When the Search Engine caches your content it will check to ensure your content is unique and not already mentioned elsewhere. Once this is confirmed your information will be indexed into Google’s search results along with other Search Engines. The keywords that were used for the article along with other factors will determine your SERP for a specific page. (Search Engine Rank Position)

When submitting to Social Networking websites you have the opportunity to develop many search results linking to one specific article. Creating Unique content on a social networking website is easy as mentioned. You simply use a unique topic title with similar keywords and a unique description of the content.

Who in their right mind wouldn’t want 2 Google search results indexed and linking back to their site especially from blogengage seeing we’re all about the do follow! Pass the Juice!

Here are some examples of what I have personally done with my latest submissions at blog engage,

Submitted on original Blog titles,

1. Blog Marketing - Tips and Techniques for Success - Webinar
2. Increase Website Traffic by using Top Webmaster Forums

Submitted at Blog Engage titles,

1. Tips and Tricks for starting a new blog – Webinar
2. Top Webmaster Forums can Increase Website Traffic

The Keywords are targeted and focused “Starting a new blog” and “Top Webmaster Forums” These are the terms I want the search engine to pick up! In general I want the Search Engine to pick it all up Webmaster, Traffic, Website Traffic, Blog Marketing, Tips and Techniques and whatever else you see in there! My topics are %100 relevant so Google will cache these articles in top spots over no time!

I know it’s a lot of work but in the end it might be worth the effort! We all know it’s the organic traffic that makes the money!

Best of luck and enjoy!

Marketing and Promotion using Social Networking Websites

Filed Under (Marketing, Promotion) by admin on 01-08-2008

There’s many ways to market and promote our selves in this ever growing social networking society. The methods for marketing and promoting our blogs has grown vastly and continues to grow daily at an even bigger rate. I think the main concern is telling the difference between good and the bad. As an example how good is 10,000 hits if you get zero comments on your blog? I would much rather prefer that one hit which turned out to be an awesome comment. Also that one hit wont waste my bandwidth and decrease my cost per click on ads.

I don’t really use digg, stumble upon or any of the major networking websites personally but I will digg or stumble upon a friend’s article when asked to. I try to focus on other marketing and promotion activities such as Search Engine Optimization and Link Exchanges. I’m also a very big fan of forum marketing as you probably know from reading al my posts. It wasn’t too long ago when I wrote an awesome article regarding the Top Webmaster forums on the net and if you have a sec and are a blogger please have a read.

Even if I wanted to keep up with all the available marketing and promotional websites these days I couldn’t and if I did I wouldn’t have time to even blog. Without blogging we have nothing to promote correct? So at the end of the day you must sit back and observe the result from your marketing efforts and determine what communities you’re going to continue using. Sure I use blogengage but I’m bias seeing I’m the owner of the site but blogengage might not be the right median for your marketing and promotional needs.

Maybe your blog is about money and you need tons of hits for a little bit id clicks. If this was the case I would suggest larger websites like the ones mentioned earlier. Sites like dig and stumble upon will most likely get your ads clicked and maybe even make you a few bucks.

Overall I use many methods of promotion and so should you! Don’t stop looking for that new idea or new way to get the word out about your blog! Continue marketing and promoting and create the brand name you deserve.

Improving your websites msn search results!

Filed Under (SEO Basics) by admin on 04-02-2008

It’s been a while since I blogged here at Search Engine Optimization Marketing and today we will discuss the little things you can do in order to generate more search engine traffic! I’m not a professional in any way but I do have trick and techniques I use to develop traffic which I like to share with all my readers. One of the biggest question asked is how do I get myself listed in other search engine besides Google? Well it’s pretty simple and in this blog I’ll explain the steps you need to take. First let discuss msn search. I know for a fact if you don’t do this you’re highly likely to go your whole life and never see a hit from MSN so I suggest you go and do this when you’re done reading the blog.

First visit the following link, http://webmaster.live.com/

From here if you don’t have an account sign up for one and if you do have an account simply log in.
After logging in you should have been sent to the “add a website url” screen. Simply add your url, and e-mail address for contact purposes. I don’t subscribe to the webmasters newsletter but if you’re interested just check the box! After adding your site you should be given an html tag you can add to the header page allowing verification that you in deed do own the website being submitted.

Mind you this technique or service isn’t a guaranteed way to improve msn search engine traffic but none the less it’s an effort on your part in order to start getting listed! I’ve personally always have issues getting traffic from msn and since I did this for http://www.blogengage.com I have already noticed “some” traffic coming from their search engine whereas before I literally got none!

Google Webmaster Tools = SEO Update

Filed Under (SEO Basics) by admin on 23-12-2007

So if you have been following my blogs you would have noticed I recently signed up for Google Webmaster Tools and added most of my websites to their services. Today I will be looking at what has happened so far to date and how it’s benefiting me to do this process. So let’s have quick look at the most noticeable changes in my Google Webmaster account Dashboard
The first thing I noticed was Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Dec 15, 2007. Which means it has now cached all the information here at Search Engine Optimization Marketing, for use when people are searching at Google.com

Let’s move on from here and have a look at the changes that took place in the Diagnostics section specifically the Content Analysis! This is an extremely important part to keep an eye on because f anything is stopping the Googlebot from searching your site they will notify you here. Regarding seomkt it’s all good and I have zero issues with my site!
Let’s now move on to Statistics! In this section you will have many things to look at including Top Search Queries, What GoogleBot sees, and a few other options as well. I personally think only the ones I mentioned are of importance.
Top search queries

In this section you will learn what keywords are generating traffic to your website from google.com. You can look at all the information collected on a week, 2week or monthly basis. I lost the screen shots but I will take some more soon sorry :(.

SEO and Marketing for your website!

Filed Under (Marketing, SEO Basics) by admin on 17-11-2007

In this Blog I would like to discuss the relevance of SEO and Marketing when you’re a website owner! First let’s have a look at the marketing aspect to better understand how it’s involved with Search Engine Optimization. When marketing your website you should have specific terms or wording in which you will be using to generate traffic via Search Engines. If you’re running an arcade gaming site you might want to use words such as “Flash Games”, “Arcade Games”, “Free Arcade Games”, or “Play Free Arcade Games”. The reasoning behind this it to ensure you get the most targeted traffic from Search Engine results. Search Engines such as google.com yahoo.com and yawoop.com You don’t want visitors coming to your site via search results with needs that aren’t relevant to what you have to offer. So when Marketing find the need and with the correct terminology, SEO will help you fill it!

http://www.yawoop.com/games/index.php

I added my link to yawoop games here because I know from having the above terminology in this post it will eventually generate traffic from search engines when people are searching for these specific words.

When you’re posting in your favorite forums ensure you’re using the same terminology, especially if it’s a popular and well SEO’d website. People will find these forums in popular search engines when searching these terms. From the forum post they will be directed to your site from signature links and or avatar ads. Proper marketing will ensure that you have the correct understanding of your website and therefore using targeted, specific terminology, search engine optimization marketing.

So to rap us this little lesson I have a quiz for you all and yes feel free to see if you can seomkt the following websites correctly.
