very cool tips……and timely as I’m currently in the process of researching the write my blog, though it won’t happen for a few months. I think Readibility is trumped by Ads all too often on blogs, so much so that people have to navigate through ads to get to the content. Great tips!

I think that character is a very important factor. Of course you want to have lots of good unique content in your articles. But it’s great if the style is unique as well.

That will set your blog apart from others in your niche. People will come back repeatedly because they like the character that comes across, and they can’t find it anywhere else on the web.

I think you should also add “include a picture” to your points. A picture really is worth a thousand words when it comes to getting attention on a blog.
